Description Of Energy Tax Changes Made By Public Law 117-169

The House Committee on Ways and Means has scheduled a public hearing on April 19, 2023, titled “Hearing on the U.S. Tax Code Subsidizing Green Corporate Handouts and the Chinese Communist Party”  The staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation provides a description of the energy-related tax changes made by Public Law 117-169, commonly referred to as the Inflation Reduction Act (“IRA” or the “Act”).
