As Members of Congress continue to discuss and study the need to reform the Internal Revenue Code, the Joint Committee on Taxation is pleased to co-sponsor with the National History Center of the American Historical Association a Congressional briefing providing an historical perspective on tax reform in the United States. The briefing will examine the history of tax reform in the Unites States from the rise of the income tax through the post-World War II era.
